Pro-Life

A Rose for Life
If you would like to honor a loved one and support our activities in support of life at the same time, for a donation of $10, we'll purchase a rose and place it in the vase before the statue of the Blessed Mother for a week. Please contact Ann Collins at the parish office 978-683-1193.

Rosary for Life

The Rosary for Life is said each Monday. The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary will be offered at 1:00 pm in the Chapel. We invite as many as possible to join us as we offer these Mysteries for the most vulnerable in our society: the unborn, the sick, and the disabled and the elderly.

Women of Grace

All women are welcome! More information is announced in the bulletin. You can also call for more information, Kathy Garon (Group Facilitator) at 978-683-1193 ext. 112.

Tea and Treasure

Meets on the 1st and last Thursday of the month from 12:15-1:30pm and the 1st Tuesday of the month from 12:30-1:45pm. Also for those who do not drive, we have ladies willing to pick up on the 2nd Thursday of the month for Tea and Treasure beginning at 12:15-1:30pm. Join us for lunch and prayer. The Creating Life Group

Meets once a month on the second Saturday from 10:00am-12noon.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Protecting God’s Children

All of the clergy, office staff, and every volunteer is required to attend a Virtus—Protecting God’s Children training session. This is an archdiocesan sponsored program which teaches an awareness of those persons and situations which could endanger our children. The state also requires volunteers to submit a yearly CORI form.

Senior Altar Server

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community. If interested, please contact the parish office at 978-683-1193.

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Adult Formation

Catholicism Series by Fr. Robert Barron is being offered in the school cafeteria on Monday nights at 7pm. Please click here for the schedule. It is not every Monday night and sometimes it must be offered on Tuesday rather than Monday.

 

Cenacle - Marian Movement of Priests

The Marian Movement of Priests meets in the Adoration Chapel on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:15 pm. Please join to pray for our Pastor, Fr. Patrick Armano, Fr. David Taurasi and for all priests.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. Adoration is held in the building closest to Lawrence Street. The Chapel is open 24 hours, seven days per week. There is a sign on the door identifying it as the Adoration Chapel. Those who have signed up have been given the access code for the key pad. We must have contact information for all those who have the access code. Please consider being put on an alternate list or committing to one hour per week. Contact Bonnie Doherty, 978-270-3366 or bonnied16atmedotcom, for more information.

Women's Prayer Group

Meets every 3rd Monday of the month. The next meeting will take place September 17 from 7:00-8:00pm in the music room, 1st floor, St. Monica School.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Church during Lent.

Novena

Held twice a year - once in the spring and once in the fall. Check bulletin for more details.

Mass-Latin (Extraordinary Form)

The First Friday of each month at 7:00pm. Also offered on every Wednesday beginning at 7:00pm.

St. Viincent de Paul Society

Non perishable foods are collected at the back of the church all the time. There is a bin for clothing in the back of the school.

Marriage Preparation

Please contact the parish office at least six months prior to your wedding.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Please contact the parish office at 978-683-1193 to arrange for a Baptism.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

Outreach to Homebound

Volunteer Eucharistic Ministers who bring the Eucharist to registered parishioners who are homebound.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Begins September 2012. Please call the parish office at 978-683-1193.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
